Here is a little snippet of a day with Erin.  She "talks" and "talks" and "talks" all day.  I have a feeling she is going to be just like her Momma.  She never shuts up and she's so loud!!!  I have to take full credit for that trait.

We were eating dinner, so excuse the messy face.

Bluebonnet pictures

Sorry if we're FB Friends and you've seen these already.  I took like 375 pictures today.  I've attached my favorites here.  (17 in all)  But, come to our house, I'll be happy to show you the other 358!!

There were 2 professional photographers there while we were at the park.  One of them was leaving and she said I could have her "spot" and use her props while she packed up her car.  Super nice!  So, we borrowed her little wooden crate.  Those pictures turned out super cute. 

Luke and Jake joined us a little later.  I got cute ones of Erin and Luke, and Erin and Jake, but no real cute ones of all three together.  Maybe next year!

Yeah, we're done!

A Big Day

We took bluebonnet pictures today!  (Will post those in a sec.)

Tonight I went to Beaumont to meet up with my friends from high school.  It was so much fun seeing them.  It's been over a year since the last time we all met up.  Great catching up.

While I was gone, Daddy was in charge.  I had the food, clothes, and bath supplies all out and ready to go.  It's the first time Tommy has given her a bath completely by himself.  I got home a little while a go and he was telling me he was sweating by the time he got it all done.  He said he fretted about the bath water temp and then struggled to get her pj's on her.  (She's ready for the next size pjs but I haven't broken them out yet.  So, she's kind of stuffed in there like a little sausage!  And, it's the only diaper change of the day when she completely gets out of control.  She rolls, kicks and moves in 20 directions at one.)

I may have to go wake her up to tell her good night! :) just kidding.  I'm sure I'll see her bright and early in the morning!

This Is How We Roll...

As many of you know, Erin refuses to crawl.  I came home tonight and was on the floor playing with her.  I decided to get the flip out and catch her doing the Erin version of crawling.

Erin's First Boil!

We went to a crawfish boil at Craig and Allison's today.  It was a small boil with just us, the other Mizes, and the Van Sickles (our next door neighbors).  There were 6 kids and they were so good.  Chad has a huge playset in the backyard and it was way fun.  Even Little E got in the action in the swing.

The absolute best quote of the day came from Jake.  Erin and Luke were in the swing and Jake was swinging beside them.  Hudson came over and patted Erin's leg when she went swinging by.  I said, "Hudson are you saying hi to Baby Erin".  Jake screamed, " No!  She's my Baby Erin!"  Look out Erin come the dating years.  Cousin Jake is on it!

Next year I'll be old enough to run around with all these boys! 

Chad said, "Come on in Jake, the water feels great." 

Luke was being shy, but we got a sweet smile out of him.
