The Calm Before the Storm...

Tomorrow is William's welcome to the family party.  We're having it here at our house.  We put it together on such short notice that we didn't do an RSVP.  It's crazy.  We could have 5 or 100 people here tomorrow.

I'm not even sweating it yet.  I'm sure by 1:15 tomorrow I'll be wishing for Valium but tonight we're just waiting for Bridgette, Wade and Julia to arrive.  Julia - aka - BFF and big sister - is getting here too late to have kept Erin up.  So, they'll have a nice reunion in the morning when Erin wakes up the house for breakfast.

In the meantime,Rox got shipped off to Gram and Pawpaw's for the weekend.  She scares Julia to death with her yipping and I don't want to have to worry about her with any little kids tomorrow.  So, she's living life high on the spoiled rotten hog this weekend.  I'm sure she'll do her normal hunger strike when she gets back to our house on Sunday.  After a couple of nights of the old people giving her chicken broth on her food and treats for dinner she doesn't want to eat for us.  Not that I blame her.

E is for Erin!

The funny thing is that Erin just randomly picked up the E.  As you can see, the whole alphabet was down there and she grabbed the E.  My kid is a genius!

An On Going Theme....

I'm still sick!!!  Now, I have laryngitis and Tommy couldn't be happier!!!  My voice completely went out on Wednesday evening.  It still isn't back right.  I think it's from all the coughing I've been doing.  I just wish I would get over this crap!!!

I had an appt with the plastic surgeon on Tuesday and all looks good, so I go back to work on Monday full time. Boo!  (More like boo hoo!)  I've grown accustomed to my afternoon naps and catching up on my DVR.  Not to mention that I get dinner cooked before Erin gets home so I can devote more time to her.  Now, she'll have to compete with dinner time again starting Monday.  The best part of the visit with the doc is that I got the all clear to pick Erin up again.  It's been hard not picking her up.  Yes, I have broken the rules and done it anyway sometimes but for the most part I did what the doctor ordered.

Tommy had a birthday yesterday and we're going to his favorite Brazilian steak house tomorrow night to celebrate.  He is impossible to buy for because everything I thought of he shot down!!  So, he's getting a new pair of running shoes as soon as I can hold the gun on him long enough to get him to the store.
