Santa...Not So Much!

We belong to the Little Gym.  Erin has her gymnastics there every Saturday.  Last week when we were there they told us they were doing Santa Claus this year.  Imagine my surprise and delight.  No waiting in the Mall line.  We made our appointment and got right in to see him with just a very short wait.  I must say that the girls at the Little Gym were running the show like a well oiled machine.

I was even more surprised when I saw the quality of the background, Santa's suit and the picture taking line.  It was awesome.  There were 2 photographers and 3 machines.  After you got your picture, you were sent to a machine and they printed out your photos right then.  No one was holding up the line looking for the absolute most perfect picture of their kid.  It was the best special occasion photo session we've ever been to.  I just hope they do Easter too!

The only drawback was that Santa had the personality of an old shoe.  Erin didn't really seem to care.  Santa had to pry her from her Daddy's arms just to take the picture.  They ended up taking 7 shots and the one below was the best of the lot.  She was screaming in everyone of them.  This one she's actually stretching out for her Daddy to get her.

We knew it was going to be bad because anytime anyone mentions Santa, Erin always says, "Santa get you".  We tell her that Santa is nice, but in her little mind, Santa is bad.  What did we expect tonight when we forced her to sit in his lap.

Hopefully next year will be different.

Roxie was just glad she didn't have to go.  She's still traumatized by the Christmas lights home photo session.

No one in this house is safe from my Christmas spirit! :)
